According to a blog post from Insomniac Games Narrative Director Joe Paquette, the comic will dive into how Peter is adapting to the existence of two Spider-Men in New York City, how Miles is doing in school and what’s been happening in MJ’s career as a journalist. Gage, who previously wrote the comic book adaptation for Marvel’s Spider-Man, will return to write the prequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. “Spider-Man 2 #1” from writer Christos Gage and artist Ig Guara will offer a glimpse at the lives of Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Mary-Jane Watson following the events of the previous games. The prequel comic book will arrive as part of Free Comic Book Day taking place on 6 May, which is only a couple of days away. Insomniac Games and PlayStation have announced a free prequel comic for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ahead of the anticipated game’s release later this year.
